MELBOURNE, Jan 14 AAP - Jack Terrence Thomas appeared to have all the makings of yourtypical Melbourne boy.
The son of a polite, articulate school teacher, Thomas was raised in the picturesquebayside suburb of Williamstown.
Described by neighbours as "quiet" and "ordinary", the teenage Thomas would let offsteam playing music with his mates in the garage of his family's neat weatherboard home.
