NSW: Snow report for NSW Snowfields, August 28
SYDNEY, Aug 28 AAP - Today's snow report for the NSW snowfields:
Thredbo: Snow cover: A good firm cover from top to bottom, softening through the day.
Lifts: All lifts expected to operate. Best runs: Little Beauty for the more advanced;Exhibition and Lenny's Leap for some short turns; and Friday Flat for first-timers.
Perisher: Conditions are very good across the entire resort, firm and fast in the morning,will soften later. Lifts: 49 open over the four resorts (Half Pipe is shut). Best runs:Zali's and Side Saddle at Blue Cow, From the top of Freelander Quad Express to CentreValley, The Interceptor, the two Terrain Parks - one at Centre Valley and the other atBlue Cow.
Selwyn: Snow depth: All runs open on a firm-packed cover, that will soften. Lifts:Up to 11 lifts. Best runs: Try Racecourse, Pig's Gully and Home Run this morning.
Charlotte Pass: Snow depth: 175cm. Lifts: All operating. Best Runs: Groomed runs willbe the pick of the early morning. Beginners should try Ego flats.
