Pfizer Inc. is cutting 275 jobs at its biggest manufacturing plant, in Michigan, in its latest restructuring move.
The job eliminations in Kalamazoo will affect supervisory and support staff, and some operational staff such as project engineers, Pfizer spokesman Rick Chambers said Monday, shortly after the cuts were announced.
Chambers said the cuts would start in the next month and would be completed by the end of the year, although some jobs might not be eliminated until early next year.
