NSW: Man accused of dousing himself with petrol in govt office
SYDNEY, Aug 18 AAP - A 26-year-old Blacktown man doused himself with petrol and threatenedto ignite it inside a western Sydney Housing Commission office today.
NSW Police were called to the office in Patrick St, Blacktown, about 9.45am (AEST)today where three officers persuaded the man to surrender a four-litre can of petrol.
"After further police negotiations, police wrestled the man to the ground without incidentor injury," a police media statement said.
He was expected to face Blacktown Local Court later today on one count of assault andother charges.
